Terms of use
Terms of use
Trial and subscription terms, responsible use and the engineering review that accompanies a MEPFlow workflow.
Using MEPFlow
These terms describe use of the MEPFlow website and browser app, operated by Abbas Dharamsi in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Questions can be sent to abbas@mepflow.ca.
Use the service only for lawful purposes and with drawings, information and other material you are authorized to use. Do not share account credentials, attempt to access another person’s projects, interfere with the service or submit abusive or malicious material.
Trial and subscription
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial beginning at account creation. All available features are included and no payment card is required for this trial. Trial expiry pauses design access until you subscribe; it does not delete your saved projects. You can still sign in and open Billing.
After the trial, MEPFlow Complete costs $50 USD per account per month. Starting a cardless trial does not authorize a charge. A paid subscription starts only when you complete Stripe checkout, which shows the amount and renewal terms before payment. Your subscription then renews monthly until canceled.
Cancel future renewals through Billing in your account. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails or a subscription ends, design access may pause until billing is resolved. Contact abbas@mepflow.ca with payment or refund questions.
Existing free accounts and public tools
Existing free accounts retain free access when this pricing launches. New accounts follow the trial and subscription terms above. Public calculators and engineering guides remain free without signup.
Product scope
The plan includes all available MEPFlow features. Each module has published methods, scope and limitations. Review supported methods and results for your project.
Engineering responsibility
MEPFlow provides design and calculation tools. Outputs depend on the supplied geometry, scale, units, connections, design inputs and selected methods. You are responsible for reviewing those inputs, assumptions, warnings and results before relying on them for a project.
A calculation or reference to a code or standard does not certify the software, replace professional engineering judgment or guarantee acceptance by an authority. Apply the edition, amendments, manufacturer requirements and project criteria that govern your work. Final design and equipment-selection decisions require appropriate review.
The current product is not represented as a certified Manual J application or as automatically equivalent to HAP, IES VE or other engineering software. Check the methods and scope described for the particular tool.
Your projects and account
You retain your rights in the drawings and project content you provide. Using the service allows MEPFlow and its service providers to process that content for the requested app functions, saving, maintenance and support. Only upload material you have permission to process through the service.
Keep independent copies of important source drawings and deliverables. Check that saving has completed and review reopened work. MEPFlow should not be your only copy of an important project. Contact us if you need help with account or project access.
Content and availability
MEPFlow’s site content, interface and software are provided for use through the service. Third-party names, standards and referenced materials belong to their respective owners; a reference does not imply their endorsement of MEPFlow.
The service and its documentation can contain errors or interruptions. No uninterrupted availability or error-free result is promised. Report a reproducible problem through Contact so it can be investigated.
Privacy and updates
The Privacy notice explains the handling of account, project, contact and website-usage information. Contact Abbas with questions or requests about your information.
These terms may be updated as the product develops. The current date is shown above. Nothing on this page is intended to remove rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
